Since 2018, PEARLL has successfully focused on educator effectiveness and the design, implementation, and impact of a variety of professional learning activities. Today’s realities require a rethinking of the professional learning needs of educators at all levels. The commonplace one-size-fits-all approach to professional learning no longer works as educators are forced to adapt their practice quickly and frequently. PEARLL is committed to take a multifaceted approach to support world language educators by offering online resources and tools, in-person and online professional learning opportunities, and research to ensure that educators are prepared to be successful in the classroom and that administrators are ready to support them.

The PEARLL Leadership Academy supports those seeking to build their leadership effectiveness. Participants will learn how to identify what needs to be in place for educators to be able to deliver quality instruction and consider what constitutes effective feedback.
The PEARLL Library of Practice showcase videos of high-quality instructional strategies, teacher reflections on the implementation, as well as student and world language expert interviews reflecting on the impact of strategies on student learning.
Foundational Workshops
PEARLL offers and customizes onsite or online workshops, professional learning resources, and teacher coaching and mentoring support. PEARLL has developed the following foundational workshops which can be offered as both half and full-day workshops.
